Exhibitions London 2017
One of the best things about living in the capital of the U.K. is the fabulous Art Exhibitions. Living in London it can be incredibly easy to forget how amazing the Art seen can be and how many different Art shows visit each year. From the greats such as Hockney, to modern artists such as Zeid, London has enough exhibitions to keep even the fussiest of Art lover amused.
David Hockney - Tate Britain
If you were unlucky enough to miss his retrospective at the Royal Academy of Arts a few years ago then here’s your chance. One of the most iconic British painters gets the retrospective at Tate Britain that he’s been owed for a while.
Wolfgang Tillmans - Tate Modern
If you’re not sure where you fit into Art then Wolfgang Tillmans might be the artist for you. Not only is he a photographer, Tillmans is also a DJ, a musician and an activist. Basically he does as he likes, and we do like.
Eduardo Paolozzi - Whitechapel Gallery
One of my favourite galleries in the whole of London, Whitechapel Gallery has an exhibition space thats great for visiting exhibitions of artists you might not know to much of. Eduardo Paolozzi is best known for his murals on Tottenham Court Road and his sculptures across the city.
Fahrelnissa Zeid - Tate Modern
If abstract art is your thing, then Zeids exhibition should be right up your alley. Western abstract art is mixed with Islamic art influences to create interesting pieces of art that tell a story as beautiful and unique as it is.
Grayson Perry - The Serpentine
One of the most well known artists of his time, and mostly not know for his art. Perry is a potter, a performance artist, a cross dresser as well as an author and tv presenter. Expect big things.
