Getting back into TV

Getting back into TV

Hello again everyone and welcome back to this blog on Art & Entertainment. I have just recently retired my job as a railway engineer and now have turned to using the internet and blogging. About a week ago I sat down for the first time in a long time and actually started to watch some TV series, the first in many years. I just flicked over to a random channel and there was something called “The Strain” showing already in season 3. The episode I watched got me hooked straight away. After searching I found the other 2 previous seasons and have started watching season one. I forgot how nice and relaxing it was to let your mind slip away into a TV and not worry/think about anything, literally brainless moments.

When I was a lot younger I and my friends would sit around playing games and watching TV but we really had no appreciation for the luxury’s at that age. Now I feel blessed to have the time and it has made me realise that I should have started making a little more time for myself more often. Trust me don’t do no more of that working all the time and having no fun to split it up. In the end it leaves you tired and board, with splitting up activates you can increase brain function that will help you in every aspect of your life, thinking clearer in general. I have literally just took a break for an hour in between writing this only because this isn’t a job and is easy to stop when you please. Next time you are thinking your feet hurt, your brain huts, eyes etc. Just take a little time out and rest your body needs it more thank you think.
