Lib Dems are fighting for road safety improvements in Hove

Liberal Democrats in Hove have welcomed a promise of action by the City Council to make Portland Road safer. A series of crashes and near misses in the busy road led to a petition calling for action being organised by local traders and Lib Dem Jenny Barnard-Langston.

Lib Dem City Council Group Leader, Paul Elgood presented the petition to the full council, he said: 'This action comes too late, and must now be taken as a matter of urgency.'
