Results from a survey of local Parliamentary Candidates by Brighton & Hove cycling group Bricycles has re-confirmed the Liberal Democrats' environmental credentials.

They asked 10 questions - from Park & Ride to Home Zones, and marked candidates out of 100%.

Kemp Town candidate Marina Pepper scored top marks with 100%, matching the Green candidate.

Hove and Portslade candidate Paul Elgood scored 90%, also matching the Green Candidate in the constituency.

And Pavilion candidate Hazel Thorpe scored a respectable 70%.

Asked the most pressing environmental problem, all three called for better and more efficient public transport. Marina also wants to tackle the school run and Hazel was concerned about air pollution.

Sadly, the Tories didn't even bother to return the survey.
