At last night's meeting of Brighton & Hove City Council, Liberal Democrat Councillors backed a motion calling for a Special Meeting of the Policy & Resources Committee for consideration of the District Valuer's Report on the King Alfred, as well as important letters from CABE and English Heritage.

The Lib Dems voted against a delaying amendment by Labour and Green Councillors to put the discussion off until the next scheduled meeting.
